E-MAC Tanzania organized wider meetings that was attended by 56 participants and held at different wards. The meetings were conducted on the 1st to 6th Sept 2017. These meetings were attended by a total of 22 wards and 33 villages’ representatives. Participants included 15 females and 41 males as shown in Table 1.
During the meetings, stakeholders discussed the existence, mode of operation, and importance of COWSOs within their communities. The meeting also identified and discussed challenges that face COWSOs and suggested ways to address these challenges. The situation of water point within the district was discussed as well.
